Philadelphia, December 9, 2019 — Brownstein Group has won its first Clio Award for a 30-second commercial created for Inspira Health. Titled “Innovation where it Matters Most,” the spot earned a bronze Clio Health award in the Visual Effects category, Film Technique medium, for its brilliant representation of healthcare technology at a human scale.
During football’s biggest game last February, Inspira Health, a New Jersey-based nonprofit healthcare organization, debuted the commercial to highlight the technology it brings to patients in its local community. The exposure of the campaign has now gone global through one of the advertising industry’s most coveted awards programs.
“An ad that runs during the Super Bowl faces tough competition to stand out. It has to offer a strong, confident, and distinctive message,” said Marc Brownstein, president and CEO of Brownstein Group. “Luckily, the opportunity came with a great client that allowed us to demonstrate the power of a big idea in the healthcare and hospital space.”
Inspira Health collaborated with Philadelphia’s Brownstein Group to create the 30-second spot, which cleverly illustrates the accessibility of its cutting-edge care for residents in Southern New Jersey. The ad features people going about their daily lives and discovering that various large robotic surgical devices and tech innovations have mysteriously appeared in their neighborhoods, underscoring the fact that Inspira Health’s advancements are right in patients’ backyards, and sometimes only a tap away.
Along with the Bronze Clio Health award, the spot was also shortlisted in the cinematography category of the awards program.
At Brownstein Group, Gary Greenberg led the project as Executive Creative Director, along with Meredith Schwinder as Creative Director of Art and Chris Grenier as Creative Director of Copy. Anne Ryan directed brand strategy for the project with Brett Samuels as part of the Brownstein Group strategy team. The spot was produced by Partizan and directed by Matthias Hoene, with visual effects and editing work carried out by Carbon and Whitehouse Post.
