June 10, 2022 (Philadelphia, PA) – Brownstein is celebrating its 13th year in partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia on its annual gala fundraiser, Wall Ball, which supports the nonprofit in transforming public spaces across the city. The nation’s largest public arts program, Mural Arts Philadelphia, has created thousands of murals throughout the metropolitan area in the 35 years since its founding – providing transformative experiences and economic stimulus for the city while helping it receive international recognition as the “Mural Capital of the World.”
Brownstein has developed the creative assets for the annual gala for more than a dozen years, including print and digital invitations, promotional plans and graphics. Each year, the unveiling of the invitation for the event is among the most anticipated moments in the lead-up to Wall Ball.
“With deep roots in Philadelphia, our two organizations share a belief in bringing meaningful art to the region and beyond,” Marc Brownstein, CEO of Brownstein, said. “Community and creativity are part of the fabric of our city, and collaborating with Mural Arts Philadelphia over more than a dozen years has further fueled our commitment to the city and inspiring the next generation of creatives.”
On June 9th, this year’s Wall Ball Gala theme was “Art Education: Cultivating Curiosity & Creativity” and returned to an in-person event for the first time since the start of the pandemic. Brownstein is a Leadership Sponsor of the event.
Brownstein’s partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia has continued to net positive outcomes, including the “Wild Tuscan Lillies” mural, painted by Brownstein Group founder and Chairman Berny Brownstein, currently located on Sansom Street in Philadelphia’s Center City District. A member of the MAP Board of Directors, the agency and its leaders were recognized for their commitment at the 2011 Wall Ball Gala.
