PHILADELPHIA, PA, May 25, 2021 — Inspira Health, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization in Southern New Jersey, has launched a new maternity campaign with Brownstein focused on empowering women and embracing the unique pregnancy experiences that moms-to-be encounter. The fully integrated campaign — including TV, print, digital, out of home, and social — is accompanied by a new digital birth plan tool to help expecting mothers plan and feel ready for delivery. Taken together, the campaign champions pregnant women and informs them about Inspira’s expertise and focus on patient choice.
“As a sequel to our last maternity campaign, this year’s work doubles down on the empowerment message,” said Meredith Schwinder, Creative Director at Brownstein. “It showcases how expectant mothers can be rock stars and invites them to take ownership of their experience.”
In the spot, the shots are vivid and portray pregnant women tackling exercise, work, and healthy habits head-on. Coupled with a modern soundtrack, the message is clear: women have the power to define their birth experience, as well as everything else they do while they’re expecting. “Own your birth plan…like a mother,” the voiceover proclaims. Whether it’s training, dancing, resting, or eating — women today have the opportunity to define their routines as expecting mothers, and Inspira provides the options, guidance, and expert care they need.
The Digital Birth Plan Tool is a simple, informative, easy-to-use application allowing mothers to create customized plans for their birth experience. It is designed to build a step-by-step plan for expecting mothers at varying levels of detail.
The campaign builds on the success of Own Your Pregnancy, a maternity campaign developed by Brownstein for Inspira in 2019, and seeks to increase awareness and consideration for maternity services across the health network.
Brownstein’s collaborations with Inspira have been lauded and recognized in several award programs and publications. Brownstein and Inspira won a Clio Health Award for the brilliant representation of healthcare technology in Inspira’s ad, “Innovation Where it Matters Most,” and “She Chose Inspira,” an oncology campaign, was shortlisted for the Communication Arts Advertising Competition last year. At the start of the pandemic, Brownstein collaborated with Inspira to create the #BlueHeartsForHeroes campaign in support of healthcare workers, which was covered by The Philadelphia Inquirer, and recently garnered praise by the editors of Muse by Clio for “Operation,” a spot about Inspira’s minimally invasive surgical options and expert physicians.
